Take in the final eclipse event of 2014 with the staff at Adler Planetarium, as the moon partially obscures Earth's view of the sun. The eclipse will begin at 4:36pm and last until sunset at 5:57pm, during which time guests will be able to view the event through a telescope equipped with solar filters. Attendees can also purchase solar viewing glasses to avoid staring directly at the sun—it burns!
