This beautiful, desolate shot looks like it was taken off some lonesome country road, but @luciehmacias tagged this photo at Montrose Beach on February 9. As a caption, she included this Lewis Carroll quote:


"I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says "Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again."


Lovely, but what if summer never comes again? What then, Lewis Carroll?
