Watching baseball from the rooftops surrounding Wrigley Field has been a tradition since the ballpark opened in 1914. In the 1980s, owners of the buildings surrounding the stadium began erecting seating on their rooftops and selling tickets to watch the Chicago Cubs from outside the park. In spite of some legal wrangling between the team and the rooftops, the Wrigleyville tradition endures to this day, offering fans a way to take in a game while enjoying amenities like buffets, open bars and air-conditioned bathrooms.

During the 2020 MLB season, fans won't be allowed in the stands at the Cubs' home game, making Wrigley Field rooftops the only way to witness games in-person. Accordingly, ticket prices have gone up and safety precautions (like face mask requirements and limited capacity) have been implemented. Check out some of the Wrigley Field rooftops where you can get a bird's-eye view of the game this season.
