Designed in cool grays and browns by local master of stylish interiors, Suhail, as a kind of futuristic listeners’ lounge, this West Town club has lively and often risky bookings, which have made it a favorite of
neighborhood hipsters. The audiophile jet set loves the spectacularly
clear sound system, and it’s hard not to fall for the reasonable price
of beer and often high-end wines. Monthly Dark Wave Disco night
(usually the third Thursday) and visits from touring DJs such as Philly
faves Diplo and Rich Medina are packed solid with lubricated,
in-the-know dancers. On Sunday nights, there’s a reliably thumping
reggae/dub event curated by former Deadly Dragon Soundsystem
instigator, RikShaw.
