Description
The bustle of north Michigan Avenue is a long ways away from a Native American oasis, but Kiva (a Native American work meaning sacred spaces for spiritual retreat) has thrived on that obvious contrast since opening shop in '99. Don't expect gimmicky deco—the massage rooms upstairs are peaceful and semi-clinical) and the spa focuses on signature treatments like the rejuvenating milk paraffin cocoon body wrap and the urban defense facial that targets skin damage from air pollutants. Oprah-endorsed Kashwear robes and haircare products fly off the shelves at the retail area on the first floor.
