    Description
This retreat on the ever-busy Canal Street has always been our fall-back when we need a Loop fix. But its services (an array of massages, body wraps, facials and even acupuncture) have become hit-or-miss. When we sampled the spa’s Organic Blueberry-Guava Detox Wrap ($110 for 45 minutes)–our therapist left us all wrapped up like a mummy and alone in the room for 10 minutes. Moneywise, that equates to roughly $24.40 worth of alone time. That said, other times we’ve visited the spa have left us impressed with its competent massages and luxury facials. Our suggestion: Skip the complicated stuff and stick to the basics here. You can always eat the blueberries and guava at home, or spread them on your body yourself if you’re so inclined.
