Any Beijing wine lover should head to the Hilton Beijing Wangfujing to choose from more than 10,000 bottles and 500 labels.

The Vintage Bank, the restaurant’s wine cellar, is the largest in the city, and all the wines are designed to pair with dishes at the hotel, including main restaurants Vasco’s (Macanese) and Chynna (upscale Chinese).

Master of Wine Dr. Ron Georgiou is one of only 262 certified Masters of Wine in the World, and resident sommelier Peter Teng, 26, is one of the world’s youngest Master Sommeliers.

We’ve met Teng a few times and been impressed by his vast knowledge and focus on sourcing value boutique wines at decent prices.
