Hilton Beijing

Since the group fully renovated the property in 2006, the Hilton has become the coolest hotel in the city. Boutique rooms at great prices, a varied and original selection of restaurants and the signature Zeta Bar draw a fun-loving crowd. The staff, dressed in fawn-coloured suits with Mandarin collars, are just one aspect of the careful design, which features little Chinese touches here and there to remind you which country you’re in. Rooms are all stylishly decorated, with sleek bathrooms, funky old black-and-white photographs with digitally imposed colours and a shiny green ‘apple a day’ carefully placed on each glass desk. Rooms on the Executive Floor are equipped with widescreen TV, DVD and CD players. A tri-level ringed atrium serves as a lobby and also houses the hotel’s Western and pan-Asian food and beverage outlets. The Executive Tower extension is due for completion by the spring of 2008 and will add another 125 rooms, and the gym, pool and spa will soon be finished too.
