From the Ricksaddle empire comes the VW Coffee Lounge. Hidden in the Volkswagon showroom off Sanlitun Xi Lu, the no frills café offers quieter surrounds than the busy coffee pitstops near Sanlitun Village.

Nine types of smoothies (we like Peachtastic), grilled panini, chunky pies and fresh salads from the kitchens of Saddle Cantina should keep you here for hours even if you’re not that into cars.
