Upon entering this tiny smoking emporium, you’re greeted by images of Pavarotti, Churchill and Castro puffi ng away.

Selling everything from old Beijing pipes (100-280RMB) and intricate animal glass pipes to famous European brands such as Savinelli and Big Ben (200-6,000RMB), this place is serious about its smoking.

Shishas in a variety of sizes are also available(80-1,800RMB) alongside fl avoured tobacco (20RMB) in coffee, rose, banana and apple to name but a few.

Boxes of Cohiba (75RMB for a small box), Davidoff (550RMB for four) and Partagas (1,200RMB for nine) cigars are also on sale.

Pipe tobacco ranges from 25-200RMB for brands such as Kentucky Bird, Captain Black and Thomas Radford, whilst rolling tobacco is around 25-35RMB for Mac Baren, Dinglers and Samson in a variety of different fl avours.

And there are bongs, too. While we were in the shop, one foreigner was so transfi xed by a huge glass dragon bong at 180RMB that he took a photo. Kids today, eh?
