The Face Shop

An Asian beauty brand the whole world can get behind, South Korean store The Face Shop has already got a fan base stretching from Australia to the US. Until recently, Mainland consumers had to buy products online or visit Hong Kong for the goods, but now the capital’s first proper shop has opened in the Joy City Mall and it just got a whole lot easier. With names such as ‘The Rice’ moisturiser, ‘Green Tea’ face peel and ‘Sake’ bath bubbles, the collection has a distinctly Eastern feel, but there’s also plenty of other yummy sounding concoctions too – from acacia shower gel to Barbados cherry face masks and lavender bath salts. The good news is, everything here is 100 per cent natural, very high quality and fairly priced too. Expect to pay around 135RMB for a body butter, 115RMB for their fabulous jelly tint lip gloss (they also have a great make-up line); 149RMB for facial cleansing foam and 269 for an eye cream.
