"Without question Woodys masterpiece is Husbands and Wives. The debate is great and all the others mentioned (especially Annie Hall, Manhattan, Hannah and Sisters, and Play it again) are quality even if they are a failure of Woodys obvious ambitious vision for each at conception. A few more not mentioned (Purple Rose, Radio Days, Manhattan Murder Mystery,, Deconstructing Harry, Everyone Says I Love you) are fantastic and just so enjoyable/ interesting as well. All of these beautiful "failures" have indeed aged very well, but in his vast and influential body of work, Husbands and Wives remains his most perfect piece of art."
