"On "Jack & Rose"
I just recently watched this movie with my husband because we where told that the house that this film was made in was a similar style of dwelling we used to live near. We found the found the story meaningful about preserving wetlands, and can relate to rebellious teens acting out, but defiantly found the bit with the father/daughter relationship, eerie and dark at best. Other the "Pippa Lee",i don't know much of Day Lewis's wife Rebecca work, but in these movies I'm reading a similar message about a women's struggle on a personal level, to take a stand against men, fathers/husbands who are abusive or self-centered. This seems like a pattern for this film maker. Does Rebecca Miller work with victims?"
