"A weird film. Half the cast are look-a-likes. The star looks like Julia Davis who's been asked to play a roll written by/for Catherine Tate; the token fat bird is Ricky Gervais' double and plays her part like David Brent. There's also a Lisa Kudrow, a Bette Midler and a Renee Zellwegger. The central character is a horribly selfish woman who doesn't show any sign of having changed at the end. There's a long gastric sequence in the middle of the film but I was surprised that none of the characters vomitted during the last 10 mawkish minutes. Chris O'Dowd and Maya Rudolph (the Kudrow) are the only ones with decent parts who also act. the rest are stereotypical turns. It's an OK, broad comedy with a twat in the middle."
