"WOW!!! What a field day all the critics [professional and others] are having with The Knot ... BUT ... I can say for certain that there many films that are given 5, 4 or even 3 stars that have bored me to death. The Knot never intended to be a recording of the (minor) mishaps that occurred in the run up to the marriage of Kate to the future King of England. It is not meant to be an intellectual study of the 'English' wedding. It is simply meant to be a 90 minute exaggerated look at what could well happen at the weddings of so many of us lesser mortals. The proof will be in who and how many movie goers see it ... and laugh at those bits that are indeed funny and relate to those bits that are touching... more importantly appreciate the great acting of so many of the actors. Let the audience decide."
