"Dire. The one star I give is for the use of real musicians who were the stars of the film. They must have paid handsomely to get the cast they did. Billy Connolly found himself, as usual, to be immensely funny and crude. Had I realised he had such a large part in the film I certainly wouldn't have gone and I would have preferred to have left but was stuck 26 occupied seats in next to a wall. Bizarrely some of the audience clapped at the end of the film. Given the majority were very senior citizens one wonders if they were marvelling at the wonders of the modern cinema screen rather than the film itself."
