Win a pair of tickets to You Me Bum Bum Train
In celebration of our partnership with CREATE we're giving you the chance to win a pair of tickets to the highly acclaimed You Me Bum Bum Train. Created by artists Kate Bond and Morgan Lloyd, You Me Bum Bum Train caused a sensation in 2010 and in the same year won the Evening Standard Theatre Award for Outstanding Newcomer and the Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award after the production featured as part of CREATE. You Me Bum Bum Train returns with a new work on 19-26 July and again from August 15-September 19, co-commissioned by the Barbican and CREATE, and presented in association with Theatre Royal Stratford East. Featuring over 200 performers, theatre-goers will be catapulted into one unimaginable situation after another before returning to the outside world, breathless, invigorated and inspired. Tickets for this year’s You Me Bum Bum Train event are now sold out, however you could be in with a chance to see it as we’re giving away five pairs of tickets. This year’s show takes place in a new East London location, where CREATE, You Me Bum Bum Train and Theatre Royal Stratford East have encouraged local people to apply for hard-to-get tickets and to volunteer to be part of the cast, as Jonathan Ross, Jamie Oliver and Catherine Tate did in December 2011. Young carpentry and building apprentices, and CREATE Jobs participants, have helped to build sets and contribute towards the production. You Me Bum Bum is part of CREATE 2012, which runs from June 21 throughout the summer and
features new projects and commissions across design, film, performance
and visual art from artists including David Bailey, Something
and Son, Jeremy Deller, Gary Webb, Nicholas Byrne, Anthea Hamilton, Donna
Wilson, Ed Carpenter, Devlin and Ms Dynamite.
