Jurin Podrum

Set in the tangle of streets in Stari Grad old town, this is a fine local bistro to suit all budgets. There’s seating outdoors and a picture of Tito on the wall inside under the beams and Christmas lights. To match the artwork that is changing for new exhibitions, the food philosophy is slightly different. As well as the usual shellfish in sauces are handy diversions such as octopus and courgette spaghetti.
