Situated outside the walls of old Nicosia, the City Royal Hotel is a 20-minute stroll from the old town and the Green Line. A marbled frontage gives way to an elegant reception hall, which in summer is an oasis from the dry heat of Nicosia. Staff are efficient and friendly and the array of amenities on offer should suit those in town on business. There's also a casino - that ubiquitous entertainment form of the north.
