I know it's all automated ugohtalh the MS commercial was funny Although I love GMail (and some other Google products: Google Reader, Translate, Documents) and am addicted to it as it makes my life easier when it comes to grouping, finding and answering mails (also use chat and even video calls from browser which is really great), I am not sure I really like the level of control Google has over MY data: you get your ads served based on the emails you exchange, recently at TED Talks there was an interesting demo of Google search and the way Google customizes the search results based on what you are interested Another thing is Android phone contacts: send us your contacts and we'll send it back to your phone Slowly, but surely Google knows everything about who we are, what we do, our friends etc (doesn't matter if we like it or not). No wonder last year (if I remember well) Google won the prize for the most unethical company.
