This converted schoolhouse is set in a shady, wonderfully peaceful forested area. It boasts a fantastic selection of stuffed vegetables, accompanied by homemade bread and excellent sheftalia (a Cypriot sausage-like delicacy). This is a true family-owned business, run by seven enthusiastic siblings. It's a great spot to pause for a rest if you're driving through the area.

We visited Mylos in July 2010 it we found it a bit hard to find at first, but basically if you head down the argarka road from polis, its on your right passed Lizas place, bit of hilly drive but lovely setting all though we did not get to appreciate it as much as we went in the evening. There was only 2 other cypriot families there:
We were served are drinks straight away and bought out garlic bread and plain bread and butter.
The soft drinks of lemonade and fresh oranpge juice were 1 euro 70 an large keo was 2.50 euros
I had Shefialia which was the best I have had in cyprus serve with home made chips delicious and veg, ths was 8 euros 62
My daughter had pork afelia whichh was served with couscous and veg also 8.62 and my son had the biggest pok chop you have ever seen served with chips and veg also 8,62
My husband and son both had the Meat meze which we all tucked into the various dips and olives both said it was really well cooked.
At the end of the meal we was served up watermelon and canteloupe melon on the house.
Overall we gave this restaurant 9 out of 10, they do have a Sunday buffet they offer and entertainment nights but you would have to phone and check with times.
