If you happen to be in the Liberties, don't miss the Cross Gallery. The space, reminiscent of spaces on New York's Lower East Side, holds mostly abstract pieces. Its young director has a flair for choosing some of the best emerging Irish painters around. Names to watch out for are Simon English, Siobhan McDonald, Michael Coleman and John Boyd.
