Popularly known as the Brendan Behan bar, McDaid's was once a haunt of the literary avant-garde, but is now more likely to be packed out with bus loads of people in search of a 'real' Dublin pub. It can get seriously busy on a Saturday night, when the Guinness fans jostle for space in the compact main bar.
