The Bleeding Horse has occupied this prominent Camden Street site for two centuries. These days it attracts a pleasant crowd of local regulars and an energetic student group in almost equal proportions. The bar sprawls over several levels: the connecting rooms downstairs are covered with heavy beams and a dark, medieval atmosphere, and there's a fairly good restaurant upstairs. The place can get busy at weekends, when a younger crowd jams in before heading on to the nearby Harcourt Street clubs.
