The capital's newest child-oriented attraction, Imaginosity is a children's museum that has pretty much everything you need to get curious young minds fizzing with original ideas. It's a bright, light, fun building, from the 'reflecting pool' that runs beneath it (the structure stands on columns) to the colourful mosaics on its roof. There's a theatre space for junior dramatists, a 'climber' that spans two floors of scrambling and clambering opportunities, and a 'construction company' that offers kids the chance to get tooled up with plastic gear and hard hats and set about building, well, something. Really young ones can join in at a dedicated area where all manner of activities focus on motor skills, sensory exploration and language stimulation. In other words, if you've come to Dublin with the kids, you absolutely have to bring them here. And needless to say, everything from the food in the first-floor café to the layout of the loos has been devised with them in mind.
