Set in several pretty Georgian buildings overlooking the Liffey, this friendly hostel has all the basics, and a few charming details besides. Its setting at the edge of the river (opposite the eponymous Four Courts) is exceptional, and the guest rooms have big windows, polished wood floors, desks and other nice touches that make the plain, metal bunk beds slightly more bearable. It has 24-hour access, free continental breakfast, good security, laundry facilities, a games room, internet access and a place to park your car: in short, more than most hostels give you for the money.
