Really somewhere that most people will observe from the outside, as the house is only open for viewings for large groups. A major refurb has left it looking good, though, so if you do manage to arrange a viewing, you won't be disappointed. Wilde lived in the house until 1878, and more than a century later the building was taken over by the American College Dublin, which has restored floors, including the surgery and Lady Speranza's drawing room.
