The crudely interactive features of this exhibition on the world of medieval Dublin seem to date from a pre-digital age, but overall this exhibition is the best of its kind in the city. A scale model of medieval Dublin helps place the two cathedrals in their geographical context, while a reconstructed archaeological dig is probably most interesting for the newspaper clippings that accompany it - they chart the history of the noble but doomed protest to save the site of one of Viking Europe's most significant settlements at Wood Quay from destruction at the hands of Dublin Corporation. St Michael's Tower, although no match for the Gravity Bar in the Guinness Storehouse, provides a fine view of the heart of old Dublin.
