With its dramatic vaulted ceiling, its discreet, secluded vibe and its excellent wines, the Cellar certainly lives up to its name. It's an immaculate operation serving casual and contemporary classics (steamed lightly smoked salmon with asparagus, poached egg and lemon oil, for instance). It is also a good place for more conservative folk or lovers looking for a quiet nook (you'll find no loud music or squished tables here). In other words, this is a grown-up restaurant with good facilities, but the food and prices mean it's OK to go to dinner in jeans. It also has a gorgeous terrace for al fresco dining in the warmer months.
