101 Talbot review

Casual, but serious about its vegetarian customers, this long-running restaurant nourishes wise locals who pay little attention to food fads. Don't expect any razzmatazz, just straightforward, honest cooking geared to everyone from vegans to carnivores. Dishes include parsnip and sweet potato rösti, West African vegetable and peanut curry, and braised guinea fowl with roasted vegetables and Puy lentils. Chocoholics rave about the chocolate cake, while 101's proximity to theatreland also makes it an ideal spot pre- or post- performances.

Found by chance while in Dublin - brilliant! The service was outstanding; they found us a table even though fully booked. The food is honest, good and excellent value for money. Dublin is an expensive City but 101 Talbot makes your Euro go that bit further. Excellent early bird deal too. Would highly recommend.
