Grossly over-priced books and very slim choice in Sports books. See what you like here and then buy it from book depository - no postage charge. That's what most Dubliners do.
They should cut their prices and stock-up more on range. Walk through the store and you'll see the same areas empty, every time, really bad category management.
Love the flickering/blown light bulbs in the politics section, so you can't browse anything because you can't read anything.
The cloying review below, written by a staff member (looking for a bonus) is the most ridiculous thing I've ever read.
An amazing bookstore! I am lucky enough to be a bookseller at Hodges Figgis and it is a real pleasure. We have amazing customers who love to browse and discuss books. The loyalty is so much appreciated. I love nothing more than seeing regulars very Week, it feels like a community of book loving readers. There isn't a day I don't walk into Hodges Figgis and find a new selection of books to buy. I am very proud of the staffs drive to promote all our fellow Are you coming inIrish authors and publishers. We have an exceptional Irish section, our International travel section is fabulous along with cookery and academic takes up an entire floor! There is nothing that staff won't try source for you.
