One of a handful of decent choices for that first coffee near the main square, Dubrava catches the morning sun and offers the most choice from its thick, bound drinks menu. Coffees, chocolates and children's cappuccinos are complemented by draught Laško light and dark, Guinness, 15 cocktails at 35kn-40kn, house wine at 80kn a litre, plus Pošip, Dingač and other quality labels. There's food too: breakfasts, omelettes, seasonal or seafood salads, even spaghettis and steaks.

I was there July 3 2012 and I will tell you that the owners and staff are amazing people who deserve your business! We waited at 2 other cafes to order or at least be noticed and were upset by the lack of service in this city until we arrived at DUBRAVA where the staff made us feel welcome! We were seated, ordered our food and were very pleased with everything.
This cafe is on the LEFT just before the Jewish Ghetto section- make sure you visit them. I took pics of the inside of the cafe and they are probably wondering why I was so inquisitive but really~ I was so happy to find a place that was interested in serving our party of 8! Oh and gelato was superb!
THANK YOU Dubrava Cafe!
