Travel information: getting to Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik Airport

Dubrovnik airport (020 773 377/www.airport-dubrovnik.hr) is 22km (13 miles) south-east of the city. Atlas airport buses (30mins journey time; 35kn) run to Pile Gate by the Old Town and the main bus station at Gruž after each Croatia Airlines internal or British Airways flight. A taxi should cost 200kn-250kn.

Getting to Dubrovnik by boat

There are regular services down the coast from Rijeka, and from Bari in Italy. Dubrovnik ferry terminal is at Gruz, a 30-minute walk or 15-minute bus journey (Nos.1 and 1A) to the Pile Gate in the Old Town.
