Edinburgh's newest play centre has an Egyptian theme, and is a dream location for any children into mummies, crocodiles, pyramids and the like. The centre is zoned for different age groups, with the line drawn at kids over the age of 12 or taller than 145cm. Admission is on an hourly basis; however, if you think you're going to be in for longer than one hour, pay for two hours when you arrive in order to save money. The food at the café is pretty healthy.

DONT PUT YOUR CHILD AT RISK!
INCOMPITANT STAFF! i returned to collect my child from a party to find he was not with the other children upstairs . in a panic went to look for him. i found him in play area. alone and upset! i asked him if he had been upstairs to the party he replied no. staff were VERY unhelpfull and unconcerned with my issue (appart from the lady on reception). when i asked if the shoes at the bottom of the stairs belonged to my son i was told yes they line them up there to make sure all the children go upstairs (why did no staff notice them.they were lying there for at least 40 mins) then i was told by the so call manager that my child and two other children were not marked off their checklist when the children were taken to eat.when i questioned if she (THE MANAGER) had checked to make sure the other two children were there she replied no but continued to just stand there and make a joke of how this happend once before. scince speaking to the mother from the childs party i have found out the manager is a man. so who WAS the female i was led to belive was the manager? also the mother who was holding the party was not informed by staff of what was transpiring. she only found out after another parent told her.she was led to believe that all children were accounted for by the staff. she asked for my child to be given some food(that she had paid for) and was told no we have another party starting also she was offered nothig as a appoligy for what happened. obviously 2 staff members for a party of 30 is not enough. dont make the mistake i did and leave your child in a so called safe inviroment!

Best Play Centre in Edinburgh by MILES! We go there on a regular basis and the kids love it and never get bored. The food is a revalation! Healthy, tasty, freshly prepared and well presented - completely unexpected for a play centre. A must for anyone with kids.
