Bailie review
This old-style basement pub - all striking blacks and reds, focused on a central island bar - somehow manages to combine New Town money with Stockbridge bohemia. Food is typical pub grub (fish and chips, steak pie) with a few more ambitious dishes. The only change of late is that the old regulars look testier than ever, presumably because they have to go outside to smoke.
