Canny Man's review Rate it
It's been around since 1871. It looks as if it was decorated by a mad maiden aunt from the Victorian era. It has a good wine list, a tiny beer garden and a truly exceptional selection of single malt whiskies. The catch? No backpackers, no mobiles, no cameras and 'dress smart but casual', which divides opinion more effectively than the Church of Scotland's 1843 Disruption. Loved and loathed in equal measure, the Canny Man's is a fabulous place to drink if you can get through the door.
