Café Royal Circle Bar review

An island bar dominates this attractive and elegant Victorian pub, where the walls are decorated with Royal Doulton tiles of famous inventors. It gets very busy after work, and is positively packed if Scotland are playing a home rugby international. The bar food is of a very high standard, but for more formal eats, try the beautiful Café Royal Oyster Bar next door (17A West Register Street, 556 4124).
