Nestled in Tollcross, this indie cinema is a real treat, picking around eight films a week from the edges of the mainstream. Chat up the friendly staff at the bar, then take your pint through when the film begins. Look out for European matinées and cheap-rate Sunday afternoon double-bills, a 20-year tradition. There are screenings for parents with babies under 12 months, and autism-friendly screenings (managed in partnership with the National Autistic Society) with low lights left on and the sound turned down.
