In 2004, Victor and Carina Contini, part of the family behind the celebrated Valvona & Crolla café and , decided to set up on their own in this former bank, grandiose but done out with modern fixtures and fittings. The aim is simple: to produce high-quality Italian food, from pizza and pasta to Milanese-style veal and other more involved dishes. At the front of the premises, the Italian Bar caters to coffee fiends, wine-sippers and snackers.
