Christopher North House & Number 10 review Rate it
Perhaps one of the most confusing hotels in Edinburgh, Number 10 is tucked away at 10 Gloucester Place on the fringes of the New Town and Stockbridge. Two doors along, meanwhile, sits Christopher North House. Although they don't adjoin each other and have two websites (and, for that matter, two names), they are in fact the same hotel. At any rate, there's a lovely Georgian feel to the establishment, traditional touches to the decor, Chinese antiques, some Philippe Starck bathrooms and a Kaffe Haus. When booking by phone, though, just be clear which one you favour.
