Like the Royal Oak, this is a folkies' hangout: there's an open session every night from around 9pm. You can get the gist of the place from the bust of poet Hamish Henderson above the bar, author of 'Freedom Come All Ye', a tune that can still get the hairs standing up on the backs of some Scots' necks.
