Bannermans review
The cavernous network of wee rooms that make up this well-worn boozer have hosted all manner of musicians over the years. Formerly a folkie favourite, it's now a bolt-hole for the indie fraternity, small enough to feel busy when you're starting off and positively riotous when a band can draw a crowd. There's something going on most nights of the week.
