A simple Italian establishment, Caffè Lucano offers breakfast (scrambled egg and smoked salmon on toast), filled ciabattas and focaccias, cakes, coffees and even full-on plates of fettucini, steak or chicken; the house wines are reasonable. The good-natured staff and sheer lack of whimsy or pretension combine to make it a welcome find.
