La Garrigue review Rate it

The designer-rustic decor of Edinburgh's specialist Languedoc restaurant - tables and chairs are by the late, great furniture-maker Tim Stead - are in keeping with chef Jean-Michel Gauffre's philosophy. The food is top-quality regional cooking (duck galantine to start, then Castelnaudary cassoulet, perhaps) and there are some predictably good wines. One of Edinburgh's best-loved venues.
