The catering wing of the Edinburgh International Festival home base, Café Hub sits in a building dating to 1845, which originally served as an assembly hall and offices for the Church of Scotland. The menu is flexible, ranging from salads and sandwiches to more substantial dishes such as poached salmon. Thanks to the terrace, it's also a great place to have an alfresco beer on a sunny day. Of course, it gets stupidly busy in August.
