Kicking around for more than a decade now, the Apartment was a trend-setter when it opened, offering a different menu structure to the standard starter/main/dessert. The food still features those mould-breaking Chunky Healthy Lines, chargrilled chunks on skewers (monkfish and pepper, chicken and prawn) served with signature coleslaw-stuffed pitta bread. But you can also have assorted fish dishes, lamb shank or steak instead. For South Edinburghers, still a hip joint.
