The MacRae brothers, from the Isle of Skye, opened this bistro on unfashionable Dalry Road in 2003, and it's been an oasis of decent cooking ever since. The food, like the general atmosphere, is approachable and eclectic (spinach and egg dahl to start, then roast chicken with Puy lentils, say). Affordable wines add to the appeal.
