Edinburgh's original Indian restaurant (1947) moved premises on several occasions before settling into a grand old building on Victoria Street in the Old Town in 2006. Just before Christmas 2008, the place burned down, but Khushi's was soon reborn on West Nicolson Street. With a fair number of main courses pegged at £7.95 or under, it's not a bank-breaker. There's no drinks licence, but you can bring your own alcohol.
