Sitting along Albany Street, just off Broughton Street, this basement restaurant sits just on the eastern fringes of the New Town. Chef-owner George Kelso's food is solid and traditional in a classic Franco-Scots style: haggis bon bons to start, herb-crusted Borders lamb as a main. The friendly, informal approach and good cooking make for a happy experience.
