From the outside, Karen Wong's looks like just another anonymous Chinese restaurant, and the familiar pre-theatre menu choices (barbecue spare ribs followed by spicy kung po chicken, £10.45 for two courses) only serve to confirm that view. But the conviviality of the hostess helps things no end, and the cooking is altogether pretty decent.
